Be an Antibiotic Hero

abxheroimage

You are invited to be in a public survey about antibiotic use, antibiotic resistance and stewardship.

What is antibiotic resistance and stewardship you ask?! Bacteria that makes us sick with pneumonia, sinusitis and bronchitis infections can become resistant to the common antibiotics we use to treat infections. When bacteria is resistant, our antibiotics no longer work!

Why resistance occurs is a complex question that involves over prescribing, wrong prescribing, and overuse of antibiotics. Antimicrobial resistance can be prevented!

Antibiotic stewardship means intentional and responsible use of antibiotics by doctors, communities, and people. Stewardship can help prevent resistance! Therefore, YOU ARE KEY to helping protect antibiotics for our future generations!

If you are at least 18 years old and can understand written English language. We ask that you read this form and ask any questions you may have before agreeing to be in the study linked below. You can ask questions by asking the research staff near you (if at an event), or by emailing the research staff via the contact information information provided in the survey.
